I called ahead to this exact location and made a reservation for a rental. My husband walked (in the cold) to rent a car after we were told that our rental bill with utilities included would be accepted as a bill. Once he arrived a worker told him that we must have spoken with someone from the 800 number and that they would not honor what we were told during our reservation call. We were willing to pay over $100 and a $300 deposit for a rental that would've lasted from Wed to Fri and they turned us away because our rental bill which included our utilities was not acceptable. Wow! What a waste of time! Our car is down and he has school/work tomorrow at 7am! I am beyond pissed because he could have used his time going to hertz instead. Oh and don't bother asking for a veterans discount because they don't offer one.
Fast easy and great customer service. I thought today was going to be a bad day, but the representative does not understand the happiness he gave me today with just a smiling face. Thanks so much. I will definitely be renting here again.
Made reservations 2 months in advance and was denied because I had a debit card when the policy clearly stated debit cards was accepted.
Worst car rental experience of my life. And that is saying something, I'm 65 and have rented cars about 30 times. The body shop sent the Griffith, Indiana Enterprise an email asking them to call me regarding available cars, rates, etc. No they never called. By the time I realized that, it was Saturday afternoon and they were closed for the weekend. I went in Monday to pick up the car and complained about not be contacted. "Oh, that guy is on vacation", I was told. I was shown two cars, both were dirty, they had crumbs in between the seats and center console. Filthiest rental cars I've ever seen. The third was not as bad though the center console was dirty. I didn't have much of a choice. Either take the least dirty of the lot or go elsewhere. Had the employee called me like he was supposed to I could have found out exactly what they had and maybe gone elsewhere if I didn't like the choices. Needless to say I will never go to Enterprise again. I called the customer service on the toll number and reported exactly waht happened. I told the person who I spoke too, if you're paying the ,manager and the cleaner anything at all, you're wasting your money.
