I graduated from Griffith High school in 1995. I was less than impressed with the job of the assistant principal at the time Mr. Joeson. I was having a problem with someone threatening to sue me for something that I didn't do and he threatened to me with if I showed up in his office to complain about the person again I wouldn't get my diploma. It took the football coach to get him in to see the assistant principal. I had problems with being harassed by the entire football team as well as many of the other boys in my class and guidance did nothing to help the situation it only got worse after one of the boys got sent to the guidance office and was talked to. Griffith High School screwed up my life. Thanks a lot.
Griffith stinks. when my oldest one was president of Pantherettes in 2001, they went to State and won it for the very first time,from all their hard work, they made up their own music and their own dances. now no one works hard anymore, its just handed to them, like a new, very expensive football field for a losing team, a basketball team that lost last year but are such whiners that they got another chance this year, ritzy coach bus to take them down there, they lost, rolled over in a school bus that has no SEATBELTS, NO ONE DIED AND ITS LIKE THIS WHOLE TOWN ACTED LIKE THEY WERE HEROES, REALLY, AND WE used TO BE KNOWN FOR MORE THAN SPORTS, THE MUSIC AND DRAMA departments were top notch, now? they consider that a waste of money. all they care about are sports and test scores. sad.. this whole town is turning into an alcoholics paradise. craft beers and bars everywhere. all they care about is MONEY. please, stay away from this town and that school and you will be much better off in your life.
Griffith does stink, I heard some Clodhopper swallowed a YoYo down in Griffith.
